Kathleen grew up in Olean, a small town in Western NY just south of Buffalo. It was shortly after her transplant to the South some 15 years ago that photography became part of her life. Traveling both across the US as well as internationally, she is always accompanied by her camera looking for that special moment of inspiration and beauty that has a habit of concealing itself in plain view. Building on her formal photographic training, Kathleen has developed her own unique style showcased here. Her eye is drawn to the abstract finer details of the subject - often focusing on one particular element of a larger scene.
Kathleen’s creativity is also channeled into photocards. Each is hand made, stamped and signed by the artist.
